Our promise to live out our lives in a peaceful country setting began in early July when we wrote a purchase offer on two separate pieces of property, a corn field and a bean field comprising approximately 16 acres. A beautiful view, five outbuildings and relatively easy access to civilization made the decision easy. The property has been neglected for many years and the buildings need repairs.
