Roofs without shingles tend to leak

The rain started fairly early and lasted most of the day, which was no problem for us. The spinach, beets, onions, garlic and lettuce are coming up nicely in the garden and no doubt appreciated a thorough watering. Al wanted to finish the radon system today so the roofers, scheduled for tomorrow, could shingle around the pipe flashing boot. Drip, drip, drip. We continuously moved tools, materials and ourselves to avoid the drops. It was a long day with lots of critical measuring and piecing, but he job was finished to perfection when we left. Al had done something to his knee two days ago, but an elastic brace helped a lot. We're waiting for the French doors to the greenhouse, so the big hole on the south side of the great room added a lot to the rain. Not to worry, it will dry up quickly.
